Yesterday my very first nephew was born. He is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen! I can’t wait to jet on over to Florida to finally meet him. I must admit, when the news of my brother and his girlfriends pregnancy was told to me I wasn’t that thrilled. I thought they were too young, too inexperienced, every negative thing you could think of, I thought.
I got use to the idea of having a little monster running around that kind of resembled me. Now, seeing his little face in pictures I’ve received, and hearing him cry while I talk to my brother on the phone, I am soooooooooooooooo glad he’s here. Babies are that hopeful part of life that I cherish the most. I am so excited to spoil this kid!

35 days to go y’all!! I must admit, my pessimism is starting to kick in. I know I should stay positive and keep pushing forward, but its getting so hard! That little voice in my head is chanting “You’ll never make it.” I’m centering myself and going to that happy place in my mind where I know I’ll make it.
